Privacy Policy

Beatitude is built by Shepherd Systems Inc. We designed this app around one principle: your prayers are yours. This policy explains, plainly, what we collect, what we don’t, and how the optional Prayer Analyzer works.

The short version

• The prayer loop is free and works without an account.
• Prayers are transcribed on your device. The audio is discarded immediately and never sent to our servers.
• Only the transcribed text is used to build your recap — and that text is deleted once the recap is written.
• We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers.

What we collect

If you sign up for launch updates, we store the email address you give us so we can notify you when Beatitude launches. That’s it. We use it for nothing else and we don’t share it.

If you subscribe to the Prayer Analyzer, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive a record of your subscription status so we can grant access — we never see or store your payment details.

The Prayer Analyzer & your voice

When you use the Prayer Analyzer, your spoken prayer is recorded temporarily and transcribed on your device. The audio recording is discarded immediately after transcription. It is never uploaded, never stored on our servers, and never leaves your phone.

The transcribed text is used only to generate your weekly, monthly, or yearly recap. Once your recap is written, the underlying prayer text is deleted. Your recap itself remains on your device under your control.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the app is used in general (for example, how many people opened the app today). This is not tied to your identity or your prayers.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time. To delete your account and any associated data, see our Delete Account page, or email hello@beatitudeapp.com.

Children’s privacy

Beatitude is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
